Our Series I Flexible LED Strips are best suited for most applications that aren't exposed to moisture/contaminants. They are lightweight, have 3M double sided adhesive on the back, and can be cut to length using scissors. Series I Strips utilize the best and brightest LED's and are available in 6 colors and RGB (red-green-blue). These strips are designed for 12V operation but will begin to illuminate as low as 6V, so a number of different battery configurations can be used (a 3S Lipo would work well).
In the third image below you can view the colors from left to right: red, green, blue, yellow, cool white, and warm white. The camera doesn't capture the full vibrance/trueness of the colors, but should give you a good idea. The fifth image shows the RGB strip which has three LED's in each die and is capable of generating a rainbow of colors.
Each color can be purchased in 1, 2, 4, 8, or 16ft lengths (please see specs below for exact lengths). The 16ft length is the maximum length available and will be shipped on a plastic reel. Strips of same or different colors can easily be soldered end-to-end (ie red, white, and blue). We also sell a sample pack which includes a single section (3 LED's) of each color (including RGB). If you order a reel it will come with a short wire lead already soldered to the end of the strip, and shorter lengths and sample packs may or may not have leads.
