Silicone Servo Wire

Heavy gauge silicone servo wire is being used on many of the newer high-torque digital servos now. We highly recommend using silicone wire for battery leads because it won't melt during a short. Silicone-insulated wire typically can't be fused together in a ribbon so it is often twisted together. We sell five colors seperately so you can buy Futaba or JR colors, or just red & black if want to make battery leads.

Deluxe Servo Wire

Our deluxe servo wire has a high copper strand count and is very flexible so it can withstand vibration and repeated flexing. This is the type of wire used by most servo manufacturers. Some of our newer stock now also features a protective tin coating on the strands which resists oxidation. This reduces resistance in crimps and makes soldering easier.

Economy Servo Wire

Our economy servo wire has a lower strand count and isn't as flexible as our deluxe wire, but it is cheaper and still suits many applications. Although it is stiffer than our deluxe wire, this actually makes it easier to work with. This copper wire has a tin coating that resists oxidation which reduces resistance in crimps and makes soldering easier. We carry a full range or sizes and can even supply 2,000ft spools. This wire is only available in Futaba colors.
