These are often referred to as "JST" or "BEC" Connectors and are commonly used for battery and motor connections on small electric planes. It's often difficult to find these other than pre-made leads. Please note that when labeling connectors we always consider the gender of the metal contact, not the plastic housing. When in doubt, go by the picture.

DC Power Jacks and Plugs

This is exactly the kind of jack/plug you use to charge your radio, and they can be found on numerous household items that get dc power from a wall converter. The simplicity and usefullness of such connectors are often overlooked. All parts sold here are for 2.5mm plugs, but we may be able to supply 2.0mm on request.

This jack simply mounts in a 5/16" hole.

These have a longer barrel and a softer plastic housing with strain relief built in. Because the barrel is longer on this plug, it will be able to reach into a rear-mounted jack.

Short PlugShort Plug
These have a shorter barrel with a hard plastic housing that is sturdier. We recommend protecting the cable with heat shrink where it exits the plug since it has no strain relief.
