This is by far the best way to rig up a Y connection. The Monobloc has solid, gold-plated header pins just like in your receiver - much more durable than the stamped sheet metal pins used in standard exensions. This unit has 22AWG high strand-count flexible servo wire.
Both Universal and Futaba J connectors can be plugged into the block end. The rx end is a Futaba J connector but the key can easily be shaved off for use in any receiver.
